Sriyog Sadhanapatham came alive on 30th May 2005 as a physical body to realize the spiritual as well as social projects evolved in the souls of a group of worshippers who are inspired by the system of Srividya. Its aims are the study, meditation and research of the branches of science taught by the ancient sages in India. The Yoga has been given more importance among these branches. The Yoga is one of the vital sciences of Brahma tatva. The six philosophical visions of India are Samkhya, Yoga, Nyaya, Vaiseshika, Poorva Meemamsa and Uthara Meemamsa (Vedanta). Out of these, the sutras of Yoga were created by the sage Patanjali. Yoga is nothing but to unite with the Parabrahma by destroying the veils which cover the human soul. It is the joining of Jeevatma and Paramatma. The meaning of its sutra is to avoid the unwanted thoughts and to maintain the purity of the truth of the mind. The practical meaning of Yoga is to maintain the balance of mind in any adverse situations.
The traditional lineage of Masters
Our tradition is to see anyone who teaches us anything, not only spiritualism, as a Guru (Master).Even though the man is the greatest among all the creations of the universe, he has several things to learn from the nature. The growth of modern science and technology is the result of human effort to study the nature deeply. The modern sciences were developed by the external facts which can be observed. But the Indian saints concentrated on the internal facts. They discovered that each material in the universe has an internal force which is the cause of its existence and that the entire universe will be in danger if that force is interrupted. They understood the relation between the earth where man lives and the stars and planets around it.
