Maintenance of Public Health

The principle that it is better to prevent the disease than curing it has been accepted as the base of public health. The state and union governments have been distributing financial supports for many programs related to the protection of public health. Sriyog Sadhanapatham also takes more interest in the public health.

The majority of mankind becomes the victims of different diseases because of adulterated foods, medicines made of chemicals and increasing atmospheric pollution. We have included different projects in our public health maintenance programs to retain the man and the nature forever by resolving the problems of modern lifestyle and wrong food habits.

The project to purify the five elements:

The main goal of this project is to maintain everyone healthy. The opinion of the masters is that the five elements are the medicines for the body created by those elements. When the five elements (air, water, fire, sky and the earth) are balanced and systematic way, the body remains healthy. The disease is the condition in which one of them is increased or decreased from the usual level. The disease is cured by identifying the imbalanced factor and by rectifying it. Hence, the projects such as organic cultivation, pure water storage and maintenance of herbals are included in this to make non toxic food, pure air and water available to the people. The methods to utilize the solar energy (Sourayog) and the methods attain the mental, spiritual and physical health through ‘Beejakshara Mantra Japa dhyanam’ (Sriyog) are also the parts of this project. In addition to that, this project is helpful to protect the people from the side effects of modern medicine by giving more importance to Yoga and Yoga treatment. By the process of purifying the five elements, the perfect health of the mankind can be maintained as well as it helps to prevent the atmospheric pollution and to regain the balance of the nature.

The painful scenes of a category of people who stand embarrassed as orphans and refugees in front of life because of different problems such as poverty, starvation, psychic disorders are still common in India. Establishing a retreat and rehabilitation Center for this category of people also is a part of this project. We have included the activities such as finding out people who are wandering in the streets because of psychic disorders, hospitalizing them, and providing financial support for their treatment and providing food, shelter and clothes to the orphans and refugees in this project.
